José Martí International Airport (HAV) (Aeropuerto internacional - José Martí) is one of the domestic and international airports of Cuba located in Boyeros Municipality, about 18 kilometers south of Havana's city center. It is the hub for Cubana de Aviación, Aero Caribbean, and Aerogaviota, as well as one of the busiest airports in the country. It was built on February 24, 1930, and replaced the Columbia Airfield. The airport was named after José Martí, a famous poet and journalist of Cuba.
