Pernhub is a really tiny community and a known tourist destination which can be found in the central Austria, situated to the south of Wells, near Highway A9. The village is primarily known for its spectacular location and close proximity to some popular camping areas like the one of Almtal Camping Zone which is situated just a few miles to the east of the village. It is not easy to find a lot of information about Pernhib because the settlement is very small. There are only about 150 people currently living there, with just about 45 households located in the village and its outskirts areas. The people are mainly spending time working on their small fields and growing fruits in their small gardens, enjoying the local relaxing lifestyle and feel happy about their life).

The area is a part of so-called Upper Austria and it is famous with its amazing views, a clean environment and plenty of fresh air, wonderful mountainous landscapes and a stressless pastoral lifestyle. The local villages and towns are mainly purely agricultural settlements, very small and cozy. Tourists who are interested in exploring the area and camping around Upper Austria visit the village and choose the lands around it to stay and sleep over there in their tents. It is possible to get really cheap and excellent quality fruit from the local farmers. Finally, there are a few ski resorts which are located in quite close proximity to the village of Pernhub, higher in the mountainous areas.
