The Church of Christ's Resurrection (Храм Воскресения Христова), also known as Foros Church, is one of the most beautiful places in the southernmost part of Crimea. This is also one of the major tourist attractions of the Crimean Peninsula known for its spectacular views. It is a small Orthodox church located over 400 meters high and is overlooking the Black Sea. Constructed at the end of the 19th century, the church played a role of a lighthouse since the captains of the ships cruising in the Black sea could see the light coming from the church windows from very long distances. The church is located about 6 kilometers north of Foros, a coastal town in Yalta.
