West Garo Hills is a large district in the western part of the state of Meghalaya, India. There are eight administrative divisions. West Garo Hills is bordered by Bangladesh to the south, Goalpara to the north, East Garo Hills to the east, and South Garo Hills to the southeast.

Tura – Gateway to Nokrek National Park
Tura, one of Meghalaya's largest towns, is the headquarters of the West Garo Hills district. Tura, located at 25°31'12.0"N 90°13'12.0"E, is also home to Nokrek National Park, which is on the list of UNESCO Biosphere Reserves. Siju Cave – Meghalaya’s Underground Wonder
Siju Cave, with a length of 4,772 m, is another popular tourist attraction in the district. It was explored in 1922, but it has been known for ages. This huge cave features unique biodiversity, underground streams, resident spider and bat species, and limestone rock formations. It is located at 25°21'03.5"N 90°41'02.3"E.
