It is also the fifth film in the Mad Max film series. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga was shot in various places in New South Wales, Australia, such as Broken Hill, Hay, and Kurnell. Filming also took place in Silverton which is known as a ghost town. Some scenes were filmed at Disney Studios Australia.
