The largest and the oldest international airport in Ukraine, Boryspil International Airport (Міжнародний аеропорт Бориспіль) is located about 30 kilometers from the capital. Opened in 1959, it was a member of Airports Council International. For Euro 2012, two new terminals and a Radisson hotel were opened in the area of the airport. It is the hub for SkyUp and Ukraine International Airlines. The airport has two passenger terminals, one cargo terminal, and one VIP terminal.

* Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the airport was closed to civilian flights on 24 February 2022.
