Saint Petersburg Stadium, also known as Krestovsky Stadium or Gazprom Arena (Газпром Арена), is a stadium with retractable roof located at the site of the former Kirov Stadium, Futbol'naya Alleya, 1, St Petersburg, Russia. It is the home stadium for FC Zenit Saint Petersburg. It has a capacity of 67,800 seats (64,468 for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and 80,000 for concerts). Designed by Kisho Kurokawa, opened to the public on 22 April 2017, the stadium was also called Saint Petersburg Stadium. The Russian Premier League game between FC Zenit Saint Petersburg and FC Ural on 22 April 2017 was the first match played at the stadium. It also hosted the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2018 FIFA World Cup.
