Havana, Cuba

Havana is the capital and largest city of Cuba, an island nation located between the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. The city is situated along the northern coast of the island, facing the Gulf of Mexico, and is home to one of the country’s most important ports, making it a key transportation and economic hub.

Havana covers an area of approximately 280 square miles and is among the five largest metropolitan areas in the Caribbean. The city lies about 260 miles south of Miami, roughly 350 miles southeast of Nassau in the Bahamas, and around 320 miles east of Cancún, Mexico. 

Havana is a very interesting city, the one with a special culture and a unique lifestyle. It was established by Spanish settlers in the early 16th century, and today it has turned into one of the most beautiful cities on the planet, with a very vivid cultural and nightlife, excellent entertainment facilities, great opportunities for business, amazing architecture, and the world's most famous beaches. Tourists visit Havana in order to enjoy the sun and various amenities offered by local resorts.

Havana is commonly divided into several distinct areas, including the historic downtown (Havana Vieja), the Vedado district, and the surrounding suburban and outlying areas. Nearby towns and suburbs include Bauta, Playa Baracoa, San José de las Lajas, San Antonio de los Baños, Camilo Cienfuegos, and Santa Cruz del Norte.
