International Airport of Pristina “Adem Jashari” is a small international airport situated about 10 miles south west of the city center of Pristina, Kosovo. It was built in 1999 and has been operating successfully since then, connecting the city to plenty of other international destinations. For a few years the airport used to serve for military purposes extensively, but lately it has been turning into solely civil airport. Annually, the airport serves to about 2.2 million people and there are a few airlines that use Adem Jashari as the hub. Those include not only national airlines, but also Slovenian airline company named Adria Airways.
