The Kelpies is a pair of 30-m.-high monumental steel horse-heads in The Helix, United Kingdom, located on the banks of the River Carron, between Falkirk and Grangemouth. It is just off of the M9 motorway. The sculptures were designed by Andy Scott, built in October 2013, and unveiled in 2014. Each one weighs 300 tonnes. The Kelpies are known as the world's largest equine sculptures. It features a visitor center with a gift shop and a cafe. You can take a guided tour and learn more about the Kelpies.
