Tucson International Airport is a large international airport which has been used for long for military purposes and is now also used for passenger and cargo flights. It is situated in Tuscon, southern Arizona, US. It is considered to be the second largest airport in the state after the one located in Phoenix. Annually, the airport serves to a number of passengers close to 3.5 million people. The airport was established about 100 years ago as a small airline first which has grown into a small military airport. Since the early 1950th it started developing as a military-civil airport which is now extensively used and connects Tucson with a number of cities and the countries. There are three runways and three areas for helicopter landing in the airport. Other facilities include all modern amenities and services of a modern international airport.
