Supported input: decimal (lat, lng), DMS with symbols or spaces, and degrees+minutes. Hemisphere letters (N/S/E/W) accepted. If parsing fails, check separators and sign (use negative for W/S in decimal).
About coordinate formats
Decimal Degrees (DD) is the simplest: a single decimal value for latitude and longitude, e.g. 51.5074, -0.1278. DMS (degrees, minutes, seconds) splits each coordinate into degrees, minutes, and seconds and often includes hemisphere letters (N/S/E/W): 51°30'26.64"N 0°7'39.84"W. DM (degrees and decimal minutes) is a compromise format: 51°30.444' N.
Tip: For decimal input use signed values (negative for West/South), or include hemisphere letters. The map uses WGS84 (EPSG:4326).
