Pictures on October 4, 2024. Folie a Deux means "Madness for Two" in French. Joker: Folie à Deux was shot in Los Angeles and New York. Filming locations include the Joker Stairs, also known as the West 167th Street Step Stairs, in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx. The stairs are situated close to the 167th Street Station. Arkham State Hospital scenes were filmed at the abandoned Essex County Isolation Hospital in Belleville, New Jersey.
