Wedding Crashers is an American romantic comedy film directed by David Dobkin and written by Steve Faber and Bob Fisher. Starring Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Christopher Walken, Rachel McAdams, Isla Fisher, and Jane Seymour, the film was released on July 15, 2005, and grossed $288.5 million worldwide on a $40 million budget, becoming one of the highest-grossing U.S. films of the year. The story follows John and Jeremy, who crash weddings to meet women, but things get complicated when John falls for Claire.
Wedding Crashers was filmed in various locations, including Washington, Maryland, and California. The engagement party scene was shot at the Gold Ballroom of the Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. Interior scenes were filmed at Ren-Mar Studios in Hollywood. Other filming locations included Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, The Ebell of Los Angeles, Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland, and the Lincoln Memorial in Washington.
