Wicked Locations

Wicked (2024), originally titled Wicked: Part One, is an American musical fantasy romance film directed by Jon M. Chu, based on the musical by Stephen Schwartz and the novel by Gregory Maguire. The film features a star-studded cast, including Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang, Bronwyn James, and Keala Settle.

Wicked had its world premiere at the State Theatre on November 3, 2024, before being released by Universal Pictures on November 22, 2024. The film received critical acclaim and won two Academy Awards for Best Achievement in Production Design and Best Achievement in Costume Design.

Filming took place at Sky Studios Elstree in the UK, with additional scenes shot in Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire.

With its visual spectacle, captivating performances, and stunning design, Wicked has solidified its place as one of the most anticipated musical films of the year.
