Bron is a small community in the region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, situated in the eastern part of France. It is one of the outskirts areas of the city of Lyon and is actually one of its largest neighborhoods. As the historical evidence has shown, the city was established in the 1st century AD and but it used to be a very small settlement for really many centuries. Only in the early 17th century Bron was formed as a small town, and in the late 19th century it became a part of the area adjacent to the municipals area of Lyon.
