Energylandia: Poland’s Largest and Most Popular Amusement Park

Energylandia is a huge amusement park located in Zator, Lesser Poland, and is one of the country’s top tourist attractions. The park is situated 54 kilometers southeast of Katowice, 49 kilometers southwest of Kraków, and 344 kilometers south of Warsaw. It is the largest and most popular amusement park in Poland. Covering an area of 70 hectares (170 acres), Energylandia offers 52 attractions, including 19 roller coasters. The park also features children’s rides, 9 water slides, 4 waterpark playgrounds, and a 53-meter-tall Ferris wheel. Opened to the public on 14 July 2014, the park is owned by Marek Goczał. One of its roller coasters, Zadra, built by the American company Rocky Mountain Construction, is known as the tallest hybrid roller coaster in the world and is considered one of the best.

Energylandia consists of four themed zones: Fairytale Land, Extreme Zone, Dragon Zone, and Aqualantis. It is a must-visit destination in Poland, especially for families with children and adrenaline lovers, as it offers attractions suitable for all ages. The park can be reached via Zator Park Rozrywki Train Station and is also easily accessible by several highways. Additionally, there are many dining options both inside and around the park.
