Situated on the right bank of the Missouri River, the town of Huff is a part of Morton county in central North Dakota, USA. It can be found about 22 miles south of Bismarck right at Oahe Lake, about 7 miles north of Fort Rice. It used to be a larger community just about 100 years ago, where over 50 families of farmers established the settlement on a very fruitful land. However, during the last 7 decades the population has been decreasing, making the town turn into a ghost settlement. Nowadays, only about 5 families live in Huff. Most of the houses are deserted and there are only a few of them occupied. There is a small church in the town which is the only operating public establishment there.
