Incirlik is a small town in Adana, southern Turkey. A small military airport and a few American and NATO airbases are situated in the town, known as NATO's Incirlik Air Base. The town is located about 8 kilometers east of the city center. İncirlik railway station serves the area. Incirlik Air Base is mainly used by the United States Air Force and the Turkish Air Force. It was officially known as Adana Air Base. It renamed the Incirlik Air Base in 1958.
