Kelvingrove Park is an urban park in Glasgow, Scotland, located on the River Kelvin in the West End of Glasgow, near the University of Glasgow. It is one of the oldest and most popular parks in the city. It features a few historical landmarks, statues, and monuments, such as the Stewart Memorial Fountain, and a live music venue, Kelvingrove Bandstand. It contains bowling and croquet greens and a skatepark. The park is home to Kelvingrove Lawn Bowls and Tennis Centre and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. It was established as the West End Park in 1852 and has a total area of 34 hectares (85 acres). It is accessible by Kelvinbridge subway station. Kelvingrove Park was home to the 1888 International Exhibition of Science, Art and Industry, the 1901 Glasgow International Exhibition, and the 1911 Scottish Exhibition of National History, Art and Industry.
