Murcia Cathedral, known in Spanish as Iglesia Catedral de Santa María en Murcia, is a gorgeous historic cathedral located at Plaza del Cardenal Belluga, 1, in the central part of Murcia city in Spain. The first church was constructed in the center of the city in the late 14th century, when the first Christians came to the area which was settled by Muslim population in those ears. The bell tower of the church was built in the late 16th century and it is over 300 feet tall making it one of the tallest religious establishments in the country. The church is dedicated to St. Mary and is famous with its extremely beautiful exterior.
