Tallinn, Estonia

The capital city of Estonia, a small country on the eastern shores of the Baltic Sea, Tallinn is located in the northwestern corner of the country and has a total area of about 60 square miles. The city is facing a beautiful bay called Tallinn Bay and has an elevation of only about 30 feet, with a very humid and green urban area. Located right opposite the city of Helsinki over the Gulf of Finland, Tallinn is located 52 miles south of Helsinki. The coastline of Tallinn is pretty long and is estimated to be close to 30 miles.

Riga, the capital city of Latvia, is located about 190 miles directly south of Tallinn, and the Russian cultural capital city of St. Petersburg can be reached by moving directly east of Tallinn, just about 200 miles away. Tallinn is one of the busiest transport and logistics hubs of the region, with a developed network of transportation links with many countries on the continent.

Tallinn is a beautiful old medieval city, a large port and business hub, and a great tourist destination. The wonderful historical architecture of the city center, numerous museums and shopping centers, and cruise routes are among the main attractions of the city. The areas around Tallinn include Haabersti, Harkujärve, Tabasalu, Peetri, Loo, Viimsi, and many more. The area around the city is famous for its numerous medium and small lakes such as Lake Ülemiste, Lake Harku, Lake Raku, and Lake Männiku. There are also a few wonderful small natural parks like Pirita jõeoru MKA, Mäealuse MKA, Krillimäe MKA, and others.
