Zagreb is the capital city of Croatia, a large and very beautiful city located in a valley near a mountain range, on the banks of the Sava River. As the capital of the country, Zagreb has the largest area and the most populated municipal zone, and it is home to most of the country’s administrative and governmental buildings.

The city is divided into 17 sub-districts and is one of the most rapidly developing communities in Croatia, with annual population growth among the highest in the country.
