Zurich is a major city in northern Switzerland, located at the northern end of Lake Zurich. The city offers many parks, museums, historical buildings, and cultural attractions. The Grossmünster is one of Zurich’s most iconic landmarks, located along the Limmat River near Münsterbrücke. It displays significant Swiss artworks ranging from the Middle Ages to modern art. The Swiss National Museum is situated near Zürich Hauptbahnhof and Platzspitz. Founded in 1898, it presents exhibitions on Swiss history. Nearby, the Natural History Museum of the University of Zurich offers interactive displays and animal models, making it especially popular with families and children.
