Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens is a U.S. Historic District and a working plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, located at 1235 Long Point Road. Its history dates back to 1681, and the main building was constructed in 1936, designed by architect William Harmon Beers in the Colonial Revival style. Boone Hall is one of the nation’s oldest continually operating plantations and has been listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places since July 14, 1983.

Boone Hall gained widespread popularity after the release of Nick Cassavetes’ iconic romantic drama The Notebook (2004).
