Marrakesh, Morocco

Marrakesh (مراكش) is a large city located in central Morocco, about 327 kilometers southwest of Rabat, the capital of the country. It is a major cultural and tourism center, known for its historic monuments, religious sites, numerous festivals, international cultural events, concerts, and performing arts festivals. The city offers a wide variety of hotels, providing visitors with many accommodation options.

The ancient part of Marrakesh was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.
