Minnesota is one of the northern and one of the largest states of the United States of America. It is located in the north-central part of the country and shares its borders with Canada to the north, with the states of Michigan and Wisconsin to the east, with the state of Iowa to the south, and with the states of South Dakota and North Dakota to the west. Minnesota is widely known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes and is also one of the largest states in that region of the country.

It is a center of sports and arts, with the community enjoying excellent cultural facilities and venues. The capital city of Minnesota is Saint Paul, which is located in the southeastern part of the state and is part of the state’s largest metropolitan area formed by the cities of Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Coon Rapids, Woodbury, and others. Minnesota is famous for its multicultural community and relatively high standards of living compared to other states in the region.
