The Roman Baths is an award-winning museum in Bath, England, United Kingdom, located next to Bath Abbey. It was constructed in 1897 and designed by John Brydon. It is an important landmark and a very popular tourist attraction in the country. The Grand Pump Room in the Abbey Churchyard is adjacent to the baths. It is a Grade I listed building designed by Thomas Baldwin and John Palmer and built between 1789 and 1799. The Roman Baths is home to a restaurant and offers an audio tour. It features numerous objects from pre-Roman and Roman Britain, including Denarii coins and the Roman curse tablets. A gilt bronze head of the Goddess Sulis Minerva is also displayed.
