Opened on September 6, 1998, designed by HOK Sport (now Populous), it has been the home field for Baltimore Ravens (NFL). It has a seating capacity of more than 70 thousand people. The stadium also hosts college football, high school football, soccer games, and concerts. M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland was used as a vaccination site during the COVID-19 pandemic. 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup Quarterfinals and 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup Quarterfinals were held at the venue.
