Soldier Field is a lakeside open-air American football and soccer stadium located at 1410 Museum Campus Dr, Chicago, IL, United States. Formerly known as Municipal Grant Park Stadium (1924–1925), Soldier Field was opened on October 9, 1924, and renovated in 2002–2003. It is home to Chicago Bears (NFL) and Chicago Fire FC (MLS). The stadium was designated U.S. National Historic Landmark from 1987 to 2006. It was also the first NFL stadium to achieve LEED status. It hosted many major events such as The 1928 National Challenge Cup, The 1985 NFC Championship Game, The 1988 NFC Championship Game, The 2006 NFC Championship Game, The 2010 NFC Championship Game, The 1994 FIFA World Cup, The 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup, The 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup, Tthe 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final, and so on.
