Best Medicine is an American comedy-drama TV series developed by Liz Tuccillo, based on the British medical drama Doc Martin, created by Dominic Minghella. The series stars Josh Charles, Abigail Spencer, Josh Segarra, Cree, and Annie Potts. It follows Dr. Martin Best (Josh Charles), a highly talented surgeon who leaves Boston and returns to the small town where he spent his childhood summers. He struggles to get along with the locals while dealing with his own fears. The series premiered on January 4, 2026, on Fox.

Filming for Best Medicine began on August 5, 2025. The show is set in the fictional fishing town of Port Wenn, Maine, but was filmed in New York. Filming locations included Cornwall and Newburgh.
