The Lincoln Lawyer is an American drama television series created by David E. Kelley, developed by Ted Humphrey, and based on the novels written by Michael Connelly. The first season is adapted from Connelly’s 19th novel, The Brass Verdict, which serves as a sequel to his bestselling book The Lincoln Lawyer. Starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Angus Sampson, Jazz Raycole, and Yaya DaCosta, the series premiered on Netflix on May 13, 2022.
The second season of the series is based on Connelly’s The Fifth Witness (2011), the third season is adapted from The Gods of Guilt (2013), and the fourth season is based on The Law of Innocence (2020).
The Lincoln Lawyer was filmed in Los Angeles, California, USA. Filming locations in the Los Angeles area include the Ebell of Los Angeles, Spring Street -one of the city’s oldest streets-, Wilshire Boulevard, and the 6th Street Bridge. Mickey Haller’s residence is located at 5245 El Mirador Drive in Los Angeles. Filming also took place in Malibu and Chatsworth.
