Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Gainesville: Home of the Florida Gators

Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is a football stadium in Gainesville, Florida, United States, located on the University of Florida campus next to the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. Commonly known as The Swamp, it is situated at 157 Gale Lemerand Drive in the northern part of the campus and serves as the home of the Florida Gators football team. The stadium has hosted various major college football events over the years.

Designed by Rudolph Weaver, the stadium opened on April 16, 1930, originally under the name Florida Field. Since 2016, it has been officially known as Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Florida Field. Over the years, it has undergone multiple renovations and expansions, reaching a current seating capacity of 88,548, making it one of the largest stadiums in the United States.

In addition to sporting events, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium has hosted legendary musicians and bands, including Joan Baez, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Eagles, and Elton John.

Gator Growl, a long-standing University of Florida tradition, was held at the stadium until 2013 before moving to Flavet Field and later the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. The venue has also welcomed many famous comedians, such as Robin Williams, Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Billy Crystal, Jay Leno, and Kevin Hart.
