Camp Randall Stadium, Madison: Home of the Wisconsin Badgers

Camp Randall Stadium is a stadium in Madison, Wisconsin, located on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison at 1440 Monroe Street. It has a seating capacity of more than 76,000 people. Built on the former grounds of Camp Randall and opened on November 3, 1917, the stadium has been renovated and expanded several times throughout its history. It has served as the home field of the Wisconsin Badgers since its opening and is one of the oldest and largest stadiums in the Big Ten Conference.

The stadium is located near Camp Randall Memorial Park and next to the McClain Center and the Wisconsin Field House. Camp Randall Stadium mainly hosts football and ice hockey games, as well as concerts. Among the famous artists who have performed here are Pink Floyd, U2, Genesis, Coldplay, AC/DC, and The Rolling Stones. The largest crowd in the stadium’s history was recorded on November 12, 2005, during a game against Iowa, with an attendance of 83,184.
