RingCentral Coliseum, also known as Oakland Coliseum, is an indoor coliseum-styled, sports and entertainment events venue with a seating capacity of 46,847, located next to Oakland Arena, at 7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland, California, United States. Opened on September 18, 1966, designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and renovated by HNTB, it has been the home field of Oakland Athletics (MLB) since 1968. RingCentral Coliseum hosted the 1987 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the 1988 Amnesty International's Human Rights Now! Benefit Concert. It also hosted many notable artists and bands such as Led Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, U2, and so on. There is a train station next to the arena. It is situated about 10 minutes from Oakland's city center.
