S.B. Ballard Stadium: Home of the Old Dominion Monarchs

S.B. Ballard Stadium, formerly known as Foreman Field, is located on the campus of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, USA. The stadium is situated at 5115 Hampton Boulevard, approximately 3.5 miles north of Norfolk and 8 miles west of Norfolk International Airport. It hosts football and field hockey games and has a seating capacity of over 21,000. The stadium, originally opened on October 3, 1936, was closed on November 17, 2018, for demolition and reconstruction, and reopened on August 31, 2019. It serves as the home field of the NCAA's Old Dominion Monarchs.

Throughout its history, S.B. Ballard Stadium has hosted several major events, including the annual Oyster Bowl. It was also home to the Norfolk Neptunes and the Norfolk State Spartans, and the Old Dominion Monarchs field hockey team used the stadium from 1974 to 2007.
