Starring Pete Davidson, Maude Apatow, Marisa Tomei, Bel Powley, Bill Burr, Steve Buscemi, Pamela Adlon, and Kevin Corrigan, the film was released on June 12, 2020, by Universal Pictures. It follows the story of Scott who lost his firefighter father when he was seven. Now in his mid-20s, as he dreams of being a tattoo artist, his mother starts to date another firefighter. So Scott has to grapple with his grief and move on. The principal photography of the film took place in Staten Island, New York, USA. Fire station scenes were shot at 875 Jewett Ave, Staten Island.

in addition to pete davidson's magnificent talents, it doesn't hurt to have a genius like judd apatow directing. marissa tomei's skills keep accumulating. i looked up davidson's real life mother and it is obvious tomei studied her. this film is one of the more evocative works of the past ten years. superb.
