Bangor, Maine: Home to Bestseller Author Stephen King

Bangor is a city and the seat of Penobscot County, located in central Maine, incorporated on February 12, 1834. It has a total area of 34.59 square miles. The city is an important tourist center, with numerous historic monuments, old buildings, parks, and restaurants. There are several great hotels and restaurants, as well as recreation facilities in the city. Bangor is famous for being home to the bestseller author Stephen King. His Victorian mansion is located at 47 W Broadway.
