Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte: Home of Carolina Panthers

Bank of America Stadium, formerly known as Ericsson Stadium, is a football stadium with a seating capacity of 74,867, located at 800 S Mint St, Downtown Charlotte, NC, United States. The stadium has a unique architecture that is said to resemble a fortress. Opened on September 14, 1996, the stadium is the home ground of the Carolina Panthers (NFL), Duke's Mayo Bowl (NCAA), and Duke's Mayo Classic (NCAA). It also hosts college football, international and club-friendly soccer matches, music concerts, and conventions. Currently, it has hosted the annual ACC Championship Game.  

Bank of America Stadium was also used as a COVID-19 vaccination site from January 29–31 and March 9–11, 2021. The stadium is located close to Carolina Panthers Practice Field, Charlotte Convention Center, Spectrum Center, and Truist Field. Nearby attractions include Mint Museum Uptown, Levine Museum of the New South, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Discovery Place Science, Marshall Park, and Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center.

Bank of America Stadium can be reached via Interstate 277. It is located in Charlotte Center City, also known as Uptown Charlotte. The area is the biggest business district in the city, home to numerous companies, including Duke Energy, the Bank of America, and Honeywell International Inc. There are many tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, and accommodation options in this area as well. Charlotte Douglas International Airport is located about 7 miles west of the stadium.
