Bordentown, NJ, USA

Bordentown is a city in New Jersey, United States, situated within Burlington County in the northernmost part of the state. It is located at the confluence of Crosswicks Creek, Blacks Creek, and the Delaware River, on the state border with Pennsylvania. It was settled in the 17th century and incorporated as a city on April 3, 1867, and was named after Joseph Borden. The Bordentown Station, U.S. Routes 130 and 206, and Interstate 295 pass through the city. Bordentown is a popular destination for its bookstores, record stores, art galleries, restaurants, and other attractions. The Crosswicks Creek Site III in Bordentown is a historical archaeological site, which was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on November 26, 1990. Point Breeze, located at U.S. Route 206 and Park Street, was the home of Joseph Bonaparte, the brother of Napoleon Bonaparte. The city hosts several events, such as the Iris Festival & Art Show and the Cranberry Festival. Local attractions also include Bordentown Beach, Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park, Bordentown Historical Society, and Clara Barton Schoolhouse.
