Clifton, New Jersey: One of The Sopranos Filming Locations

Clifton is a city in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States, located 18 miles northwest of New York City. It was incorporated on April 26, 1917. The Passaic River forms the northeastern border of the city. Clifton is home to several companies and shopping centers. Xcitium (formerly Comodo Security Solutions Inc.), a cybersecurity company, is based in Bloomfield. It is also home to Clifton Commons, a large shopping center featuring various stores, restaurants, and a movie theater. The city has several historical landmarks and attractions, such as the Garritse–Doremus–Westervelt House. Situated at 794 Park Drive, it is a Dutch Colonial farmhouse that was built by Peter Garritse and David Westervelt in the 18th century. It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on March 20, 2023. It is also listed on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places. The Garden State Parkway, Clifton Train Station, U.S. Route 46, Routes 3, 19, and 21 serve the area.

Clifton was used as a filming location in The Sopranos and Donnie Brasco (1997). Local attractions include Main Memorial Park, Robin Hood Park, and Clifton Stadium.
