East Cleveland, Ohio: Home to the First Industrial Park in the World

East Cleveland is a city in Ohio, United States, located within Cuyahoga County, 9 miles northeast of Cleveland. It is bordered by Cleveland Heights to the south and east and Cleveland to the north and west. U.S. Routes 6 and 20 pass through the city. Stokes-Windermere Station and Superior Station also serve the area. The city was incorporated as a village in 1895 and as a city in 1911.

- East Cleveland is home to Nela Park, the headquarters of GE Lighting, which is also one of the top employers in the city. It was built between 1911 and 1924 and designed by Frank E. Wallis. The park was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
- Forest Hill Park is a large urban park and a U.S. Historic district located in East Cleveland and Cleveland Heights, Ohio, at the latitude and longitude of 41.522222, -81.576944. The park was added to the NRHP on February 27, 1998. It has an area of 248 acres and offers hiking trails, tennis courts, and baseball fields.
