Orange Beach is a popular resort city in Alabama, known for its sandy beaches and excellent facilities for seaside vacations. In addition, the city hosts many sports events, including sailing, running, soccer, and baseball. It is located within Baldwin County on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, about 55 miles southeast of Mobile. The city was founded in the mid-1860s and was incorporated on August 1, 1984. Orange Beach is bordered by the city of Gulf Shores to the west and Perdido Key to the east.
