Pinehurst, known as the Home of American Golf, is a village in North Carolina, United States, located within Moore County. The village was founded in 1895 and incorporated in 1980. It is bordered by Aberdeen to the south, Taylortown to the north, and Southern Pines to the east. It is served by U.S. Routes 15 and 501 and North Carolina Highways 5 and 211. Pinehurst Regional Airport, also known as Moore County Airport, serves the area as well.
