Put-in-Bay, Ohio, USA

Put-in-Bay is a coastal village in Ottawa County, Ohio, United States, located on South Bass Island in Lake Erie. It was explored by a French explorer in the 17th century and named Isle des Fleurs. It was incorporated in 1877. The village is a tourist destination served by Put-in-Bay Airport, State Route 357, and ferry services.

The village was home to the Hotel Victory, which had 625 rooms, making it one of the largest hotels in the United States. It opened in 1892 and was destroyed by fire in 1919.

• The Crystal Cave, a limestone cave, is located in Put-in-Bay (latitude 41.6465172, longitude -82.826897). Known as the largest geode ever found, it has been open to tourists since 2016.
• Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial features a 352-foot-tall column and a memorial park offering scenic views of Lake Erie.
• Put-in-Bay Winery at 392 Bayview Avenue offers tours of the house and wine tastings. It is one of the major tourist attractions in the village.
• The Boardwalk is a tourist hub, home to many restaurants and bars as well as gift shops. The Lake Erie Islands Historical Society Museum is located nearby. There is a wide variety of hotels and other tourist attractions in the area as well.
