Somersworth, NH, USA

Somersworth is a city in New Hampshire, United States, situated within Strafford County, in the eastern part of the county, on the state border with Maine. Located on the banks of the Salmon Falls River and 72 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts, it was incorporated as a city in 1893. The area was originally inhabited by the Abenaki. New Hampshire Routes 9, 108, and 236 serve the area. Somersworth is bordered by Berwick to the north, Rollinsford to the southeast, Rochester to the northwest, and Dover to the southwest. Local attractions include Somersworth Historic District, Noble Pines Park, Somersworth Public Library, Somersworth Historical Society and Museum, and The Oaks Golf Course.
