Dhurandhar is a Hindi-language political action drama movie written and directed by Aditya Dhar. It is a star-studded crime saga inspired by real events, blending India’s underworld, patriotism, and R&AW covert operations connected to Operation Lyari in the Lyari area of Karachi. Starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun, the film was released on 5 December 2025 in India and quickly became one of the highest-grossing Hindi/Indian films of the year. It is also one of the longest Indian films, with a runtime of 214 minutes.
Where was Dhurandhar Filmed?
Dhurandhar was filmed from July 2024 to October 2025 in various locations across Thailand and India. Production began in Bangkok. Additional filming took place at Filmistan, a movie studio in Mumbai. Other filming locations included the Dombivli–Mankoli bridge, the Golden Temple, and the Golden Tobacco Factory.
