The series stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, X Mayo, Ben Kingsley, Zlatko Burić, Arian Moayed, Byron Bowers, Joe Pantoliano, and Josh Gad. The series follows struggling actor Simon Williams as he chases his big break in a Wonder Man remake while hiding his secret powers. The series premiered on Disney+ on January 27, 2026, and consists of eight episodes.

Wonder Man was filmed on location in and around Los Angeles, California, United States, with locations like Regency Village Theatre (Fox Theater) and Highland Theatre. Additional production took place at Radford Studio Center, a movie studio located at 4024 Radford Avenue in Studio City. Other filming locations in California included Eagle Rock, Yucca Valley, and Southern California. Talmadge Apartments, a historic building dating back to 1924 and located at 3278 Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown, Los Angeles, was used as Slattery’s apartment in the series. Exterior scenes of Simon’s apartment took place at 5656 Lexington Avenue.
