The seat of Alcorn County, Corinth is a city in northern Mississippi, United States, located on the state border with Tennessee. Roscoe Turner Airport (KCRX), U.S. Highways 45 and 72, and Mississippi Highways 2 and 145 serve the area. Known as the Crossroads of the South, the city was founded as Cross City in 1853 at the junction of the Memphis and Charleston Railroad and the Mobile and Ohio Railroad, named after the city in Greece and incorporated on March 12, 1856.

Corinth has several places that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Siege and Battle of Corinth Sites, Corinth National Cemetery, and Midtown Corinth Historic District. Other points of interest in the city are Shiloh National Military Park Corinth Interpretive Center, Black History Museum, Corinth City Park, Malco Corinth Cinema, Curlee House, Corinth Coca-Cola Museum, Corinth Public Library, and W. L. Duncan House.
