East Orange, NJ, USA

East Orange is a city in Essex County, New Jersey, United States, located at the intersection of the Garden State Parkway and Interstate 280. It is also served by East Orange Train Station and Brick Church Train Station. It was incorporated on March 4, 1863. The city is bordered by Orange to the west, Newark to the south and east, South Orange to the southwest, and Bloomfield and Glen Ridge to the north. The Ambrose-Ward Mansion, located at 132 South Harrison Street, was built in 1889. It has been listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places since 1982. Local attractions include Central Avenue Commercial Historic District, the historic City Hall, Jersey Explorer Children's Museum, East Orange Public Library, and Paul Robeson Stadium. The city is located about 13 miles west of New York City.
